Golfo

A boutique stay on the Gulf of Naples, drawn as one unbroken line — the curve of the bay, the horizon, a wave, all in a single gesture.

Golfo — Napoli · Mare
01 — The Brief

Most coastal hotels sell the same blue postcard. Golfo had to feel like Naples — warm, a little raw, unmistakably here — not another generic Mediterranean clone.

The answer was restraint with one strong idea: a single continuous line. Read one way it's the curve of the gulf; tilt your head and it's the horizon, a wave, the rim of an espresso cup at the bar. One gesture the brand can repeat forever — on a key fob, a robe, a sign, a story.

02 — The Mark

The line never lifts. It's the same stroke weight everywhere, so it scales from a website header down to embroidery thread without losing itself. The sun is the only detail that breaks away — a single fixed point the eye returns to.

03 — Palette & Type

Three colours, no more. A deep Tyrrhenian sea, the warm tuff stone the city is built from, and a low evening sun. Fraunces for the voice — Italian, editorial, a little theatrical — set against a quiet grotesque for everything functional.
